Volunteer at Summit Park on 7/25 and 8/8!

(July 8, 2021 - Blue Ash)
The Ohio River Foundation needs your help at Summit Park!
There are two volunteer events coming up this year where you can help remove harmful invasive plants and plant trees at Summit Park. These efforts will allow more native plants to bloom and provide a home for native wildlife like butterflies, birds, etc.
Summit Park Invasive Species Removal
July 25, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Help remove harmful invasive plants from Summit Park's natural areas! Volunteers should expect to hand saw, trim, or pull trees, small plants, and/or vines and help drag them to the chipper area. Be prepared for the weather in durable, layered clothing, long pants, long sleeves, hat and sunglasses. Please wear sturdy closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle. Meet by the dog park. For more information, and to register, email Jessica Tegge at jtegge@ohioriverfdn.org or call/text (513)289-6884.
